Samaara Robbins graduated with honors from the Boulder College of Massage Therapy. She studied Massage for People Living with Cancer and Oncology Massage in the Hospital Setting with Gayle MacDonald. She is a Certified Manual Lymph Drainage Therapist and Breast Cancer Rehabilitation Therapist.
Samaara received her first massage ever just a few weeks after beginning treatment for cancer. For that hour massage Samaara felt like just another girl enjoying a spa day--a girl without cancer. Out of that experience she embraced massage for others going through treatment. She worked as the lead massage therapist for Shaw Regional Cancer Center in Vail, CO and opened a private practice in Frisco, CO and later in Truckee, CA serving those diagnosed with cancer and lymphedema.
In 2012, Samaara began teaching and in 2014 she became an NCBTMB approved continuing education provider in oncology massage. She developed the online massage modules for Wellness for Cancer and an 8-hour hands on oncology massage practicum. She is the author of Caring Touch, a manual for massage therapists. Samaara is also a Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider offering CEUs to yoga instructors in restorative and restorative flow.
In her spare time she can be found in the mountains hiking, climbing, skiing or just enjoying the outdoors. Samaara is a self-proclaimed “knitting maven”.

Julie Bach is the Executive Director for Wellness for Cancer, an educational program under Spa4ThePink, a registered 501 c(3) organization. The Wellness for Cancer curriculum is based on many people's experiences, including Julie's experience of being in and out of cancer centers for 15-years for her parents, being a caregiver and not knowing what to do, and working with clients who have experienced cancer in her wellness facility and cancer centers since 2001. It is also based on fielding the many questions from within the industry on how to work with clients who have experienced cancer.
The founding and evolution of the non-profit was based on Julie's personal experience of losing both parents to cancer and the internal work that she did with Felix Lopez, mindfulness and meditation teacher. Julie also attended workshops and retreats with cancer center specialists from MD Anderson to learn how to do her best to overcome her genetic potential. Julie has been a spa owner since 2001, is a licensed esthetician and manicurist, certified health coach, yoga teacher and holds a Masters of Business Administration from Harvard University.
